If you would like to “share with God’s people who are in need” (Romans 12:13a), then you are at the right website!

PAN Missions has been working in Nicaragua since 1997, partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship to assist local churches in spreading the gospel. We help them by sending teams to build churches, Sunday School rooms and Christian schools. Our work has expanded into public schools, hospitals, clinics, orphanages, feeding centres, seniors’ homes and sewing schools.

Walk for Nicaragua! PDF Print E-mail

The headlines recently in Nicaragua read: "More Poverty, More Starvation”. This as a result of tripling the price of beans, rice and flour. Add to that the rapidly rising cost of gas, same price as here, and obviously the 70% or so that live in the very poor barrios are finding it even more difficult to survive, let alone improve the chances of a better life for themselves, or their children.

If you feel God nudging you to get involved in what PAN is doing in Nicaragua, contact any of the Board members for information about upcoming trips and other ways you can get involved.

PAN is for Everybody!

Listowel Team People from a wide variety of backgrounds are very interested in joining our mission teams. This is a pleasure for us because we are all one in the Lord! We work with all the denominations in Nicaragua so it is fitting to have Canadian Christians who have a heart to serve, regardless of denominational roots.

If you feel that your church cannot support a mission trip on its own why not consider join with other churches in your community? The picture is of a mission team drawn from several Listowel Churches that enjoyed a productive trip several years ago.  Do not hesitate to contact us - we would be thrilled to help you make your dream a reality.

This ministry began in January 2006 as a way to bring kids to Christ through sports. Many successful sports camps have been held in Canada over the past several years. A building project in October of 2004 spawned the idea to do similar camps in Nicaragua, to reach all the kids on the streets, especially those that don’t attend school.

Chippewa August 2008 PDF Print E-mail

From July 25th to August 8, 2008, a team of 15, the majority of which were families with their teenaged children, were commissioned from Chippawa Presbyterian Church to journey back to Managua for our third trip with PAN Missions. We had the great privilege of returning to our original 2001 project in the barrio of Los Cedros. In 2001 we had built two Sunday School rooms for a small Baptist Church. Our congregation subsequently sponsored a staff of teachers that these classrooms might serve as school rooms through the week. Seven years later, with upwards of 70 children attending the school, three additional classrooms were needed.

Do You Believe In Miracles? PDF Print E-mail

Last summer Annette Vickers heard a story that took her by surprise and left her wanting to hear and learn more. The story was about a “heavenly surgery” that happened in Santa Anna, El Salvador. In May, three of the PAN Board members (Annette, Debbie Coutts and Laird More) were blessed to not only hear this story first hand from the woman involved, but also to meet and speak with 10 other individuals who were part of a prayer chain at Mas Que Vencedores church in Santa Anna.
